My main inspiration for the design mockup was Past Visions created by The Urban Complexity Lab at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. A couple of key design features from Past Visions stood out to me that I wanted to incorporate into the mockup:

1. I loved that you could see the entirety of the collection, yet hovering over filters would highlight the associated photos and give you a sense of scale. This achieved both a quantitative and qualitative exploration of the photos.
2. I also loved that it allowed you to seamlessly zoom into the timeline and focus on individual photos in greater detail.
