April 29, 2023: Refining methodology and researching. Finding historical data tables for Chinese population from decennial US census (1870-1990). Read various reports on the gentrification of Chinatown. Narrowed down to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and NYC. Collected 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010 census data from Social Explorer. Created Chinatown maps using Social Explorer.

April 30, 2023: Finalized metro census visualizations. Creating data tables of historical national census data of Chinese population.

May 3, 2023: Created table of Chinatown with latitudes and longitudes. Added US map and location of chinatowns. Transformed to Albers. Joined population data to US map.

May 9, 2023: Worked on paper and presentation
